Assistant Care Manager
Andrew Watkins is a dedicated professional in the field of Gerontology. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Jose State University, and currently pursuing a Master’s degree at San Francisco State University, he furthers his commitment to enhancing the quality of life and well-being of older adults.
As Assistant Care Manager at enABLE, Andrew acts as an advocate and supports Care Managers to ensure the highest quality for clients’ needs. With the last 12 years, he has a diverse background that spans from administrative, activities, and residential relations from his time at various senior living communities including Vi at Palo Alto and Atria.
In August 2023, Andrew achieved a significant milestone by obtaining his RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly) license. He also remains at the forefront of industry knowledge by actively participating in biannual CALA Conferences, ensuring that he stays current of the latest trends and best practices in senior living.
Andrew is driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults, and his dedication to the field is evident in his academic pursuits, professional experiences, and ongoing commitment to staying informed about industry advancements.
In his leisure time, he enjoys playing recreational baseball, traveling with his wife and creating new adventures with their corgi, Rufus.
