Alexis Ward is our Director of Care Management. Her primary focus is to bring a high level of expertise and support to our care managers and the families that we serve. Alexis comes to enABLE with a background in Psychology/Social Work after completing her degree at Fresno Pacific University. In 2014 Alexis completed the Leading Age Oregon Leadership Academy training, further propelling her into her passion in the senior care industry. Alexis spent more than half of the last decade as a Client Care Manager, specifically in the home care setting. In that time she held various roles such as staffing, recruiting and sales, which has allowed her to understand and manage the full scope of the care spectrum. She then became a PAC certified Dementia Care Specialist in 2015 to better serve some of the most vulnerable clients.
In 2018 Alexis became the Head of Operations in Marin County for a national home care company where she led a team of individuals through the challenges, successes, and growth of operating a home care agency. Alexis then became a NCCM certified Care Manager in 2021 with the goal of continuing to provide a high level of expertise and service to her clients and fellow care managers.
In her personal life, Alexis is a military spouse to husband Brandon Ward and a mom to two young children, Sutton and Quinn. She and her Husband moved to the bay area in 2015 from the pacific northwest and have fallen in love with the quaint city of Benicia where they reside, and all that the bay has to offer.. mostly the sunshine!
